When you answered yes to these questions four times, you might suffer from a sleep disorder.
A sleep disorder is considered a problem when it appears 3 times a week or more, it lasts for more than 4 weeks and it reduces the ability to concentrate or your performance during the day. Bad nights or temporary sleeping problems which do not last very long do not require any medical treatment.
A combined treatment of hygienic sleeping measures, psychotherapy and relaxation exercises have proved to be effective. If any medicine is required, addictive drugs should be avoided.
